Week 10 Reading Diary B: Mahabharata by Peter Brook

I thought the scene between Duryodhana and Ashwatthaman was a very powerful scene. He talked about seeing an owl slaughter baby crows, and it was a sign to him that it was his time for vegenence. Then he described going into the camp and slaughtering the Pandavas' children. He didn't have any remorse about the war.

I absolutely hated Krishna in this film just as much as I did in the book. He knows things that he should be telling the Pandavas, but he either keeps it to himself or tells them at the worst possible timing. This led to the Pandavas killing to siblings.
